Houston-born Max Flinn discovered his passion for music early, strumming along to Raffi songs before teaching himself guitar. Inspired by Texas Country icons like Cory Morrow and Robert Earl Keen, music remained central in his life, even while working in the corporate oil & gas industry. Eventually, he left that career to pursue music full-time, building a following through open mics and local performances.
In 2021, Flinn released his debut album Meant to Be, recorded in Nashville with producer Bobby Terry. Featuring collaborations with legendary musicians like Jon Conley, Brent Mason, and Larry Franklin, the album was praised as sincere and heartfelt. Houston Press described his music as “fresh and new, but familiar at the same time.”
