Libby Koch
“…the kind of crisp but classic country-pop that has all but vanished from Nashville but guarantees the album a welcome spot in the libraries of any Rosanne Cash, Mary Chapin Carpenter or Patty Loveless fan. That said, fans who prefer their country music come from a dance hall rather than a coffeehouse will be rewarded handsomely with “You Don’t Live Here Anymore,” “Bring You Down” and “I’ve Been Blind” as well.” – HOUSTON PRESS (CHRIS GRAY)
Lainey Balagia
In 2012, lawyer/singer-songwriter Lainey Balagia released her debut album, Neverland. With a title inspired by her favorite book and songs inspired by little boys who won’t grow up, the 10 tracks run the gamut from emotional ballads to high energy country rock. In addition to practicing law and releasing an album, Lainey formed a band with singer/songwriters Debbie Forrest Byrd and Libby Koch. Their band, The Grievous Angels, released their debut album in July of 2013 and received awards from the Houston Press and the Academy of Texas Music.
