Tony Kamel, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and frontman of Texas acoustic band Wood & Wire, is venturing into solo work from his Austin base.

Known for his smooth vocals, guitar picking, clawhammer banjo, and storytelling, Kamel’s style is rooted in an early love for his parents’ eclectic records—ranging from Zappa to Led Zeppelin—leading him to blend bluegrass, blues, country, and folk.
